The registration dates for the both examination are published on the official site of JLPT. Registration for the JPLT July takes place in the month of March while registration for JLPT July Exam 2019,December 2019 takes place in month of July. JLPT July 2019 will be held at various centers in New Delhi.

New Levels of JLPT: Linguistic competence needed for the JLPT is categorized in terms of language activities including Reading and Listening and language knowledge such as grammar and Vocabulary. Successful execution of these activities is required to pass the Japanese language proficiency test. The JLPT is divided into following levels.

  • Level N 1: N1 level is the toughest level of JLPT which is designed to measure the advanced abilities of the candidates. This is approximately the same as the current Level 1 test.
  • Level N 2: This level is easy is compared to N 1 level and to measure the ability to understand everyday situations in Japanese and variety of circumstances.
  • Level N 3: this level of JLPT is positioned for bridging the N2 and N3 tests and also measure ability to understand Japanese used in everyday life.
  • Level N4: it is an easier level which is used to measure the ability to understand the basics of Japanese language.
  • Level N5: this is the lowest level of JLPT and easiest as it includes the understanding of the some basic Japanese.
