Age limit—candidate’s age must be less than 35 years. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and of 5 years for SC/ ST candidate is applicable.

Educational qualification—candidate must have passed HSC or equivalent qualification.

Physical fitness—

• Males—

1. Minimum height- 165 cm for general candidates and 155 cm for SC/ST candidates
2. Minimum chest- 79 cm for general category and 77 c for SC/ST candidates

• Should be able to walk 25 km in 4 hours.

• Females—

1. Minimum height—155 cm for general and 150 cm for SC/ ST.
2. Should be able to walk 14 km in 4 hours.
