SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2019, SSC 10+2 Education Qualification Age Limit

1.) Academic Qualification:

  • Candidate must be at least 12th passed or its equivalent from well recognized university or Board.
  • For the post of date entry operator and auditor general: Candidate must be 12th passed from science stream with mathematics as one of the subject.
  • Candidates who are diploma holders, graduates, and post graduates in any field, Engineers, CA, and ICWA are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who have done diploma or degree from distant learning program or some open university are also eligible to apply.
  • The candidates who are going to get their academic degree from the board or university are also eligible to apply.

2.) Age Limits:

Candidate must have minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 27 years.

26 Widows, divorced women, women judicially separated, and who are not remarried(SC/ST) Up to 40 years of age
27 Defense Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a distributed area and released as a consequence thereof 3 years

 3.) Nationality/Citizenship:

  • A candidate who is citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, can apply for the recruitment process.
  • A candidate who is refugee of Tibet and has the intention of permanently settling in India can also apply.
  • A candidate who is from Indian Origin and migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam, and who has the intention of permanently settling in India can also apply.
