Exam Pattern of IES 2020:
Written examination: 1000 marks
Section 1: Objective paper (2 hours for each)
- General ability Test: 200 marks
- Engineering paper Ist: 200 marks
- Engineering paper 2nd: 200 marks
Section 2: Subjective Paper (3 hours for each)
- Engineering paper Ist: 200 marks
- Engineering paper 2nd: 200 marks
- Personality test: 200 marks.
General ability paper of IES 2020 consist two sections and common for all i.e. General English and General Studies. For General English paper candidate should have good knowledge in English language and also have ability to write correctly. For General ability candidate should have knowledge about historic and geography and also known about current events.
Candidate should have engineering degree or equivalent degree. Student who enrolled in final year can applicable for IES 2020.
